AD:VENTURE provides ambitious new businesses in West Yorkshire with a tailored programme of support to help to them grow.

We know that starting a new business is hard and for new business founders it’s also a lonely place at times.

Statistics show that around 60% of new businesses fail in the first 3 years. We want to change that in West Yorkshire by helping you to build and grow your new business with the right tools, knowledge, and networks in place.

Our high-quality support services are free to new businesses and existing enterprises under three years' old because they are funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Partners.

Is your business eligible?

We do have eligibility criteria that must be met by the businesses applying for our support.

Eligibility:

• The business is trading, and has been trading less than 3 years (We will consider active trading rather than the technical trading start date – Beginning of invoicing / charging for good and services)
• Aims to achieve a VAT threshold (currently £85,000 per annum) level of turnover within 2 years
• Ambitions to recruit and build the team within 12 months
• Be based in West Yorkshire (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield, and Leeds).
• Be an SME and trading B2B (selling to other businesses). Or B2C (selling to consumers) but only if more than 50% of turnover is derived from customers located outside of the West Yorkshire geography
